With Berlin Fashion Week in full swing over the last few days, there’s been no shortage of industry influencers passing through town. It’s not just the catwalks and pop-up stores they’re here to see, however. High-profile brands across Europe also flocked to the annual Panorama Berlin trade show where 50,000 people gather at one of the most important events on the Berlin fashion calendar.
We’re regular attendees at the event and were delighted to be given the opportunity to present this year as part of the Fashiontech Solutions track. Its main theme of The Digitisation of the Fashion Industry maps perfectly to how our suite of sizing solutions helps leading brands and retailers solve sizing and unlock value hidden in their own data.
Fit Analytics CEO Sebastian Schulze took the stage to share insights on how our size advisor helps data-driven, global fashion giants such as The North Face and Zara stay at the top of incredibly competitive markets by getting closer to their customers.
Amongst the other Fashiontech presenters, we were particularly impressed by Lunativ’s innovative approach to making smart-light products part of fashion’s future.
Lunativ’s success reflected an encouraging wider trend of European companies jumping to the front of fashion tech innovation. We look forward to seeing the fruits of those labors hit real-world stores over the next few years.
3D printing was another hot-button topic across this year’s event as attendees pondered the potentially transformative impact it could have on the industry. The feeling across the floors was that the promise hinted at in last year’s high-profile Time piece is on the verge of becoming a reality.
