A crucial part of our mission to help fashion brands and retailers solve sizing and sell smarter involves taking a genuinely global view of online apparel. Latin America, in particular, has long been a focus point for us and we’re proud to support many fantastic firms such as Netshoes, AMARO, Zattini, and B2W across the region.
That’s why we’re delighted to be attending VTEX Day 2018 – Latin America’s leading e-commerce event – in São Paulo this year on May 15th-16th. In advance of the conference officially kicking off, let’s take a quick look at three key things to look out for in Brazil over the next few days.
1. An Eclectic and Inspiring Range of Speakers
Our friends at VTEX have put together a genuinely impressive range of speakers and we’re expecting plenty of insight from keynotes at this year’s event. Any conference featuring a headline appearance from Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson is obviously off to a great start, but we’re also looking forward to contributions from ASOS’ Brian McBride and André Shinohara of Netshoes.
As the hosts of Latin America’s largest online retail event, VTEX themselves will also be playing a major part in proceedings throughout – appearances from Mariano Gomide and Geraldo Thomaz are high on our to-watch list.
2. Omnichannel and Customer Experience Taking Center Stage
Just as in the North American market, the twin themes of omnichannel and customer experience will be occupying the minds of many attendees over the coming days in Brazil, and there are plenty of great sessions available on both topics.
As the makers of a best-in-class size advisor that helps you match and exceed customer expectations wherever they are across native app, desktop, and mobile, we’ll be paying close attention to the Customer Experience track on the 15th. We’re particularly looking forward to presentations from senior VTEX figures here as they share insights gleaned from their position as one of the world’s leading cloud commerce platforms.
3. A Strong Focus on Fashion
With apparel grabbing an ever-larger share of online commerce every year, it’s little surprise that VTEX have carved out a dedicated fashion track at this year’s event on the 15th. We’re looking forward to an exciting mix of local insight from the Brazilian market and broader takeaways from across the world of Latin-American online apparel.
